If the veneer only is peeling away then some sort of contact adhesive should work. Rightly or wrongly that would be my choice, rather than PVA. Cheers

The only problem with your ordinary contact adhesive is you need to coat both surfaces with the stuff, and let it go dry to the touch... before bonding or putting together..

Which could be a problem unless the veneer is taken completely off..

My solution would be,,,, as long as there is a loose edge would be to use or try this... a lot thinner than your normal contact adhesive,,, (y)

Sorry to hear of the delamination, but what's caused it I wonder?

Possible damp or just humidity?

Good luck with the repair :)

Could try reheating it as it may just be the glue wasn't set right first time

use some oven paper and and iron - worked on some bits in ours that did the same

Its quite common in an Eldiss, though not exclusively, mostly caused by the use of the cooker. Ours started doing it on the Bathroom door. Always leave good ventilation with the hob on. The underside of the cupboard above the hob suffers the most our really peeled off there.
