We bought a 2007 Starspirit in December and the price inlcuded a rear roof-access ladder being fitted. The dealer contacted us to say there was a problem because the available fixing space (due to the top and bottom mouldings on the rear wall) was too small for a standard ladder and there would be a long delay in sorting it as additional stainless steel fabrication would be needed. We took the van, with a small discount for the lack of ladder, but we are now having great difficulty in getting a ladder fitted, fobbed off by Discovery Leisure (Autocruise dealer) amongst others as it is a pre-Swift model.
Does anyone have / know of a suitable rear ladder for this motorhome which doesn't need modification before fitting?
