autocruise running boards - how are they fixed on ? (1 Viewer)

Hi all
I have noticed that the drivers side running board on the wentowrth is a bit loose when i stand on it.

Does anyone know how they arev fitted on
I thought there may be something under the anti slip strip but apparently not after checking yesterday

I am beginning to think they are wekded on but would appreciate knowing for sure
