Auto-Trail Cheyenne 696G (1 Viewer)

Very new to all this but we have our sights set on a Auto-Trail Cheyenne 696G. We like the large garage and permanent bed set up.

Anyone with experience of one of these, things to watch for when buying?

What about engine size, it seems they might have more than one engine ...what is best?

Having looked around at various layouts we bought one. Which I have recently sold.
Love the big garage...............loads of room for everything including the bikes.
Ours had two double beds ....we had one each.
The 3 litre fiat engine was superb and ours was auto which was also a bonus and made the driving so easy.It was also quite economical getting around 25 mpg.

Overall a very good experience.

Cheyenne696g

we've got 2006 cheyenne696g and we love it, we love the layout and the large garage but beware you are only supposed to put 125 kg in it and the spare wheel weighs 40kg

Ps ours is the fiat 2.8 engine and had no problems with it

I'm assuming most of these are on a Fiat chassis. Did the Ducatto have a change around 2006? I've noticed a difference in cabs.

Yes mine is the old style cab

I've only just noticed but there is a high and low level ...the hi being a 6 berth and low being 4?

I'm still interested in engine derivatives if anyone can explain that.
