Auto Sleeper Ford Pollensa tyres (1 Viewer)

Hi -
I have just purchased a 2001 Autosleeper Pollensa on a Mk6 Transit base.
This is our first van and I am having fun trying to work out what the tyre pressures should be.

The autosleeper manual refers to the Ford handbook but at the recommended pressures they seem under inflated. (4 bar) The dealer had inflated all four to 75 psi.

Are there any owners of this model on here who could recommend the optimum pressures for everyday use.

Firstly the tyre pressures will vary with axle loading.

Find the axle loads when lightly loaded and when fully loaded and then contact the tyre manufacture quoting these loadings.

They should be then able to tell you the correct tyre pressure range for the loads quoted.

values quoted by vehicle manufacturer and converter are often not very helpful as they may well be for the maximum loading situation.
