We are parked up on the beachfront at West Beach Car park Hayling Island.
OK I accept for a lot of people they would not pay the prices.
£15 overnight
£6 all day
However with this hot weather it must be the best location along this section of the south coast.
Added bonus the local Chinese takeaway delivers to your motorhome.

Er, jealous.com :(

Looks brilliant and I'd pay the price as it's well worth it (y)

Out of interest what are you doing for fresh, grey and black? :)

Don't get burnt!! ;)

For a one off fee of £3 they give you a Radar key for the waste disposal point. This key also fits the disabled toilets. Drinking water point in the ordinary toilet block and a shower block open between 8am and 6pm £1 token.
Wish more councils would be this enterprising.
Around ten vans here last night. Not spotted any fun stickers .

Very nice day today. Now joined by Capnpugwash and a visit from Mr Motorhome. Had to take shelter under. The awning from a passing storm but normal service now resumed.

Hi we were there about 3 weeks ago and yes it is £21 total. £15 for the night and £6 for the day. The prices drop I think at the end of Sept/Oct. We managed to pay by phone for the day but it wouldn't accept it for the night so take lots of coins and press the motorhome button on the machine. We enjoyed it there and will be going back!

Blimey. So really - unless u arrive very late or leave very early it's basically £27 a night if you include the daytime either side!
Maybe I won't be going there:(

it is £21 total, Dave. £15 for the night and £6 for the day.
Id be happy with that - but the night is 10pm to 8am. So to do a midday to midday kind of thing that's a night and 2 days??? Have to pay for the day when u arrive - then the overnight - then the following day unless you're away by 8am - and who gets up that early!!!

Hi the day parking is from 8am until 6pm. So if you arrive after 6pm you should be ok to just put the night ticket on:)

We go there usullay over the winter months as we like the wild sea, but beware dont not pay as there are wardens that patrol, and its so easy to do it online or on your phone.

We have been going there since the council started allowing overnighting, its nice but the wind and sail boarders make it very congested at the weekends, I have seen about 200 boarders there on several occaisions, but its good to be right on the shoreline
