Hi newbie here, well I have been registered for quite a while but only just become a paid up member, we have just sold the caravan, we have been caravanners for the best part of 40 years so it has been quite a big decision to try a m/h anyhow we have bought a Mclouis 363,
I had a 70a leisure battery in the caravan and I wondered if anyone can see a problem with putting that in parrallel with the M/Hs 115a battery ? Thanks.

Hi and welcome :flyingwelcome:

I would not use your caravan battery on the m/h as it will drag the larger battery down.
Liesure batteries in parallel should be identical in size, capacity and age. I'm sure someone will sone give you far more info on the subject.

Batteries should be the same size and replaced at the same time, if you have a smaller one with a larger one it will only charge to the same as the smaller battery, and an older battery will drag a new battery to the same level/condition as the old battery

Welcome to Fun and i wish you many happy travels in your new motorhome
