After all of our on going hospital appointments are met, we are at last in a position to book a ferry for a Winter sojourn in Portugal (hopefully at Pedro's!!):Cool::Cool:

On the C.C. Booking site the cheapest price for our 7 metre MH on 22nd. November was (to my surprise !) P & O at £47-18 !!!! single that is !!

Is this price likely to rise if we leave it a little bit longer !!:thanks2:

I have no idea how the pricing is derived, random guesswork sometimes I reckon

I would have thought you could save a bit by not going on a Saturday, you are off for months after all, a small delay or even go a day or 2 earlier might get a better price. My experience of the Tunnel says avoid weekends and Fridays

Back to my own planning, still stuck with 2 weeks, although looking to go for 3 in October, next year maybe they will be months not weeks

    Have fun

The reason I go early on Saturday after overnighting on Marine Parade is to take advantage of the no lorries rule in France at weekends !!:thumb::thumb::thumb:

why avoid rouen steve i now find with the bridge down its easier to get through rouen as for toll you know the only 1 to pay is from bolougne to abbeville unless you want stop go stop go all the time and i used more fuel going that way as well safe roads and have fun
