I really can't see this cleaning itself for one the moment you open charcoal bag you have dust. I think the unit will always be dusty to a point also, however I have no doubt it would cook a steak a treat . Just don't see it as a great motorhome must have for me its my Cadac now 8 years old folds down a treat wipes clean easy.

Cadac is accepted in more places, hot in seconds ,easy to plug in to gas, packs away again in 30 mins after use. The fire risk of charcoal BBQ's is much higher (especially in the hands of a Wally)
