Astra 28e settings

I have a Mobil sat system on our van, which is a Spanish van with different satellites pre programmed. I thought I would have a play and oooops I deleted the settings as per the picture below for the satellites, I found these shown in the picture on Google, but the dish fails to lock onto the Astra satellite even though we are in the UK at present

can anyone confirm if these are the right numbers or share the correct ones so I can update it

Go here and search for 28e. Then you’ll get all the transponders and frequencies, baud rate, elevation etc.

Thank you, I did stumble across this site, but being a total numpty I wasn’t sure what I was looking at, but will have another bash

I don’t have the same system as you but I used to have a motorised satellite system. If you find a good active transponder on 28e such as BBC News. Then if you can move the dish to 28e, see if you can input the details for the transponder that has BBC News. So it may be 27900, 3/4 H (or whatever). Than save these and then do a search. That should bring in all the channels on that transponder. Then with the dish try an all transponder search and see what loads. If nothing then you may need to enter all the transponder details one by one, save, then search.

THis is an old frequency, pre BBC SD to HD switch
BBC News HD is on 11023 H DVB-S2 8PSK SR 23000 FEC 3/4

BBC SD channels are on 10803 H DVB-S SR 22000 FEC 5/6

For the OPs, the frequency posted is incorrect, as that frequency has been converted to DVBS2 (ie HD - 11426 V DVB-S2 QPSK 29500 8/9 ) which is why you are not getting channels.

Thank you, I assume by entering these figures into my system as per my original screen shot will allow te dish to lock on to the satellite which at the moment it doesn’t

UK TV on Astra 2 satellites use about 70 frequencies, so you can use any of those 70 frequencies... as listed in the links previous provided.
