Good idea to wear the badge! and your Santa hat to keep warm. The show itself is of course best visited late afternoon/evening to get the best from it. However there are some lovely walks around Ashover and plenty of pubs too .

I apologize for the confusion but this is last years thread that has been resurrected. There is no Rally this year but there IS a show and it is possible to camp from tomorrow onwards which is excellent value and apparently there will be some funsters there

Just to make this clear....the Rally & list were 2014 but it is on again this year first weekend in October. Very nice village with good pubs /eating, walks etc. Looks as though Dryad and g8syn have both booked.

Oh yes Santa hats, I only live 15mins away and a friend has a farm just up the road.

Beautiful day here, hope it lasts all weekend for those of you going to support this worthy cause.
Looked fairly quiet as I drove past this am. but of course doesn't open till later this afternoon. Lots of caravans + m/homes parked up enjoying the sunshine.
