All those looking for euros, Asda's doing euros at 1.256, good price.
but I just loaded some on my caxton card at 1.255.
And I'm not getting mine until I land in France and get them via a Halifax card where I predict the rate will be 1.28 ish
I'll then pay it off in full, online when it lands in my account about two days later. That way they'll be bu&&er all in interest to pay
Hate to be smug but I got 1.27 yseterday using Currency Fair...
No bank charges or fees.
Flat €3 fee to change £'s into €'s and transfer it.
But you do need a Euro bank account as well as a UK one.
I have to put €1500 into a friends € account from my UK sterling account.
Any ideas on best ( cheapest!) way yo do it, please, anyone?
Holly, which bank are you with?
This is a good guide from a 'relatively' unbiased source: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/foreign-currency-exchange
Thanks for the info . You will always get the mines bigger than yours brigade
