Purchased an ASDA Gas Barbecue this morning and using my degree in advanced IKEA managed to assemble it.
The first picture is from the box - shows fully assembled with stand and wheels. However, I am hoping this will be a useful accessory when touring and the second picture is how I intend to use it.
Not as comfortable cooking position without the legs, and, as always, particular care needed when cooking with children or animals around (and the occasional drunken onlooker) but I thought this was particularly good value for money.
Not been used yet - so could be absolutely awful in operation and to clean, but I think it is worth a go. Comes complete with hose and regulator suitable for a Calor Patio Gas bottle. Should be easy to change for a standard propane regulator.
Only fault so far is the handle for the lid does not quite line up with the holes. Round file should correct that.
I think at £25 a go they will disappear from the shelves before long.
Made in China, of course.
