Just preparing to set off to Spain (Cabopino) and considering purchasing the ACSI card. However I am worried that I may not receive it on time. Does anyone know if I can purchase the card and book from an ASCI registered campsite?

You can but it may not be English version. I bought mine last year from the little shop at Cabopino just before we left as realised we would save as a few stops planned. It was a Spanish copy but card was all I really wanted and that was fine. You used to be able to get your copies sent to site but cost prohibitive since left EU! Normally ACSI book always been middle Dec delivered here to us in UK. If you buy one now it will be 2022 edition which expires at end of December so depends on how many sites which take ACSI you use as to if it’s worth it. Many places sell them in UK so you could get the 2022 edition very quickly.
That’s just my thoughts others may know better. See you at Cabo???

The only reason you need the book is that it has the discount card inside.
The site information and locations are better looked up on the app

Whilst on the subject I noticed that ACSI had taken €25.00 from my card to pay for next year's book and app. I phoned them to tell them I had a good medical reason to cancel it and they more or less said 'Tough'!
Apparently my details have gone to the printers and can't be retrieved, so if anyone wants next year's card and app at a discount then give me a call!
I can't help feeling I'm being taken for a patsy though...

Good info, however I think ACSI have now released the 2023 version.

Never done Spain so late in the season but i get the impression that prices , especially for longer stays, are negotiable and therefore might be lower than acsi rates.

Usually around September ACSI will email you to check card details and also gives you time to cancel your subscription.

Yes that's true. Cabopino have their own discount system which is very good, especially for longer stays.

Vicarious Books say that the ACSI discount books will be despatched "mid December". Too late for us I am afraid so we will have to buy one once we get to Spain (if we do!). We usually buy from the CCC as they are cheaper. But all they have for sale is the 2022 version!!!
