I visited Arnold Clark Fiat to buy a couple of oil filters. When I got there I found they didn't have a parts counter but the receptionist told me to wait in the waiting area. After over half an hour and many reminders that I was waiting the guy arrives. I give him the part number and off he goes. He then comes back with a silly price £17.00 I told him I normally pay £12.57 at Northern Commercials. He said that they must be giving me some kind of discount. I asked if they could natch the price, he refused.
It took me less than 30 minutes to drive to Northern Commercials, get served and get back.
No wonder everyone I know with a Fiat doesn't use them. The staff were rude, slow and although I was waiting ages there were loads of staff wandering around chatting and doing nothing.

We visited a Arnold Clark dealer in Stourbridge to buy a 500 Abarth we were told
We could not purchase as it was the end of the month!! I couldn’t believe what I was being told.
We phoned round a had a great deal with Slough Fiat which was worth the train ride to collect.
They have a weird way of operating never again.

Why am I not surprised? I think you did well by avoiding dealing with them.

Arnold SHARK are known as such for good reason, Evans Halshaw also have a terrible reputation.

I’ve bought 2 nearly new cars from Arnold Clark in Stafford and I can’t praise them enough, the service and presentation of the cars was exceptional. I also bought a 3 year service and mot package with them and have been pleased with their servicing of the said vehicles.

John.

When i used to own a Jeep went to Arnold Clark in Leeds, dreadful service.
Ended up at The fiat dealership in cleckheaton instead. Alot better service.
Recently been taken over now Stoneacres. Not sure if service still same.
