Armacao de Pera, Algarve, Portugal - should have posted this yesterday but forgot - we arrived there at the "aire" by the beach €1.50 night - very empty .... we were told that we had just missed th police who had issued notices to everyone telling them that there would be no longer be able to stay overnight - €200 fine. We had just paid but left to go to the aire at Praias de Roche, when we got there his had closed down as well. Hope this helps anyone down here

Took a look at this place today. Quite a few vans and plenty of space. Was told by some people that GNR visit evening and at 07.45. Keep step in and nothing outside and it is OK. If unsure don't answer the door or go for a walk when they come!! Water and toilet dump available. It is not an aire but a car park.
GNR move people of when it gets very full and overcrowded.
