Hello, is it just the lounge seating area that's different between the two models or are there any other differences? Ta.

In our local Argos you have to stand up when you are filling out the little forms with the stubby pencils.......(sorry, not helpful but couldn't resist).

It will depend on particular model designation.

We looked at a 747, we found the seat bases to be short, and quite uncomfortable, hence we never bought one

Looked at both Argos models prior to buying and major difference was the seating/table arrangement in the rear, although as Pappajohn has stated, there's also some subtle differences too such as hob, kitchen layout and toilet/bathroom layout.

I'm 95% sure it's going to be an Argos. I am going to look at an Elegance tomorrow though! I love the look of the Argos and the fact you can close the cab off appeals to me big time. Double floor, alde heating and a garage big enough for a KTM Duke 690 R are the main things. Oh and the fact that they have the 3.0l engine and not the 2.8l.

Consider a Dethleffs Globetrotter XXL then as that will tick those boxes, plus they're based on the Iveco cab rather than the Ducato.
Also look at a Dethleffs Advantage A7871 - there's two models one with big garage and bed and the other a U shape lounge but unsure about a closed off cab with the A7871.
I looked at all of these but ended up buying a Euramobil Activa 820 HS.
I wasn't too fussed about the big garage access door for a bike as I had to sell my bike to fund the motorhome.

Well that was an interesting visit to Becks Motorhomes in sunny Norfolk!
I no longer want an Argos. I want an Elegance instead! They had one of each in stock (the Argos was a customers but I had a snout around it from the outside ). The Elegance i821 they have in is beautiful!
