We went a couple of years ago. White vans driving round by the Aire just looking. Previous night two electric bikes had been removed while the owners slept. We had a meal out second evening and it had to be the worst meal of the whole holiday. I ordered the Duck and it arrived with more fat round it than meat

Still don't know what the fascination is with the place. 240+ motorhomes all crammed into a car park with rubbish facilities and it costs you 10 Euro a night. It's one place we won't be going back to

Place is packed, had pork a d chips Julie had moules and chips , starters and a beer a d coke £40 just, and btw it's 11 euros now to park but does i nclude hookup

We were there thurs/fr/sat night!Enjoyed our stay!Yes it is just a car park!and a crowded one at that but we like it.!Free piano concert in the church on saturday which was great.

About what .. I stopped and talked to one guy this year who told me about all the campsites they had visited for the last decade. After the first 10 it got rather boring.

When I went to honfluer last year we spoke at length to a Dutch couple but yes most Brits don't want to talk. After paying too much for food last year we took our own drinks and sarnie and sat on the bench by the quay people and boat watching..
I agreed though. What's the attraction. We've been 3 times now!!!!

Yeah that's true, we find every nationality but the Brits want to talk, maybe it's me they don't like the look of , fair enough, but they all seem to sit in their little corner, and just ignore everyone, and barely look up if you speak to them, but must impress I'm not talking about funsters here, just your run of the mill toffee nosed Brits.

Actually that photo turned out quite arty, now iv seen it on my iPad, with the boats in the middle, it just looked all black on my phone.
