Are there ant Solo rallies in November or do we just turn up at normal meetings (1 Viewer)

Hello and welcome @Linda jane, I to am a solo motorhomer . You will find lots of friendly folk on here at at the rallies and meets.

I'm amazed there are so many single female motorhomers I thought I was the only one everyone I know thinks I'm really brave!! Can't wait to meet you all .I checked the calendar and othing seems to be happening until May and by then I hope to be in Europe
. How do you go about arranging something. Even a lunch or a weekend stopover?As you can tell I'm not very patient ...... saying that I have waited this long. Anyhow hope to meet up soon.

You can get together and have a bit of a natter and there is plenty to do locally.

It's a nice site, a nice area & there are almost always some other funsters there to meet.

Like Linda Jane, I am a solo traveller and I can't work out where the meetings are that I get to meet you guys. As far as I can see, the first one after March 2018 is in May. Would this be correct? I am still in Spain at the moment and I am on a flyaway until March, so I have a very small window at the end of November, and then from March onwards.
You all sound most welcoming- well, most of you! - and it would be good to put a face to the names.

Hi @Linda jane & @Stewart - there are lots of meets & rallies planned for next year https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/events/ & any Funster single or otherwise is assured of a warm welcome. January-March is usually the quiet period but lots from April/May onwards.

Know it is a bit daunting going along to a first meet or rally but if others know that it is your first one then that usually helps.

@Stewart if you look back date wise on the Rallies calendar there was Newark Show in March then
Eden Camp, Chester Easter Rally & Peterborough Show in April so likely to be at least some of these again in 2018

Welcome and @Linda jane I have been to 2 rallies flying solo. But you are never on your own as always have been made welcome & involved with other Funsters.

My young kids at times don't want to come on a rally, but doesn't stop myself.

You will enjoy & I look forward to 2018 rallies meeting a lot more Funsters & have a great craic at the music nites.

Welcome @Linda jane although not a sole I do sometimes travel on my own and meet up with @movan and others A great crowd from all over the country with varied interests. If you are thinkng of going anywhere for a couple of days you could post your intentions and see if anyone is a le to meet up with you.
