Just looking
Morning all - the Arapaho is 8.7m long and the water inlet about 7m from the 12v socket. If I buy a aquaroll I then need a pump. Any suggestions re a decent reliable pump and will the 12v plug reach my cab? If it doesn’t should I buy an extension? I assume that they exist?

You can buy a submersible pump from any camping store or online. You could place the water container near the socket and attach a small bore hose of the correct length to the pump.

Sorry I can’t make any suggestions other that what he said, but you’ve a huge inbuilt tank, why not fill it and keep it topped up 🤷🏼‍♂️

Make yourself up one of these for about £13 👍🏻

Many thanks all - I will order a pump and a Aquaroll - can anyone tell me what bore hose to buy - do most pumps take the same size?

Watering can, takes up much less room than an aquaroll and pipe work.

An Aquaroll has quite a wide screw cap entry, but if using standard water containers check that the pump will actually fit through the hole.

I have a Heos filler cap with a hose connector built in, so I can attach the hose without having to hold it in the filler neck.

If you are using an electrical extension, you could cut off the plug and socket, and wire in an inline on/off switch like those used for table lamps. I find the cigarette-lighter plug/socket arrangement a pain, always losing contact.

What I mean is when I have used the onboard and it is empty
Don’t worry . As soon as you mention Aquaroll on here you open a can of worms 😂. This is a motorhome forum , how dare you mention caravan items 😂. I totally understand your situation. We travel as a family of 5 and the kids and her lordship often use the motorhome shower . Obviously driving to the service point when you have a full camp set up for a few days isn’t an option . Likewise 12 trips to and from the tap with bucket isn’t practical either . So the Aquaroll and pump work well .
However, I am slowly being educated by the old timers on here 😂. Get the kids to use the shower block and take paper plates so you don’t need to wash up . Even better , go to a site with a restaurant 😂.
