Has anyone managed to treat and eradicate this ? we have two young apple trees and one has this, I'm worried it'll spread to the good tree. They are only 3 years old. Is it possible to eradicate it ?

I believe it can be controlled very early in the season, but it cannot be eradicated from the stricken tree.

chain saw! may be your best option to save the other tree but not guaranteed as the spores are spread before flowering. So the damage may be done
