Anyone use the Currensea Card

Looking at avoiding charges when withdrawing money overseas.
Does anyone use the Currensea card at all. The blurb on the site says they give better exchange rates than most others.
Any feedback.

Yes - currently using ours in Germany and very happy with it. I don’t think it’s the absolute best exchange rate but still pretty good, and we like it functioning effectively as an extension of our debit card. Worth looking at MSE for a view.

Again, yes, in benidorm at the moment and popped into a hotel for a drink and they only accepted cards, had a currensea and a wise card in my wallet and it was accepted no problem, and the transaction was quickly backed up with an email confirmation the cost, and the rate given, which was much better than any transfer rates I'd seen

Have used it in Madeira, Spain and France with no problems, its linked to your debit card but uses a far better rate than the majority of banks.
Very pleased with it.

Revolut gives a very good rate and no charges but a lot if not most banks especially Spain charge to withdrawal from ATM’s and vary in cost’s…

Have you asked your bank if they charge for cash withdrawal from the local Spanish ATM?
My Virgin bank account cash card is free from charges
The Spanish bank may charge you for using their ATM.

Last time we were in Spain (Winter 21/22) Unicaja Bank were not charging for withdrawals.

Been using the Currensea card for most transactions in Spain & France over the past 4 weeks. Very pleased with it. I get an email each time i use it confirming the spend in Euros & £. Cash comes out of my current account a few days later.
Currently getting @ 1.145€ to the £ with no charges.
If anyone is interested in the card , i have a code fromCurrensea which will gift you (& me) £10 when you spend £100.
