We are due to take delivery of our new van at the end of the month.
It basically comes with one leisure battery and a solar panel.
Been thinking whether this will be enough, as we like to go off grid and so no ehu available.
Wondering whether therefore to ask the dealer to fit a second leisure battery. So, can anyone tell me where abouts the leisure battery is located in a 635, and is there enough room for a second battery to be shoe horned in?
Or, do you think that one battery with a solar panel will be adequate.

Yes the V-line can accommodate (there is dedicated space) a second battery.

From our - albeit short - experience of the V-line two batteries and the 100 watt solar panel was fine in Easter off-grid for four days.

Hope this helps

I did hear someone say when they went back to Autotrail with their damp coach built that there were quite a number of V lines which were leaking on the roof/body join section. So worth checking there.
I,m not sure of the construction or whether this is true or not about seeing lots of leaky V lines back at the factory, does anybody know how the roof is attached to the sidewall ?
Is it possible for it to leak, if possible it negates all the advantages of having a panel van.

Thanks for that, I will get the dealer to fit one before before we pick it up.
