Wonder if they know they're going to be overweight!

Story was a couple heading to the polish/Ukraine border in their motorhome to help refugees by offering lifts and showers etc.
Their son owns a confectionary firm and has donated 1000kg of sweets.....hence the title....Poland or bust(ed rear springs)

How do you know what our government is doing? Do you have inside knowledge?

I would think they are busting a gut behind the scenes to prevent as much bloodshed as possible.

So us sending weapons and missiles and intelligence long before most anyone else, while Germany tried to block us. For being one of the linchpins in helping to mobilise the world's opposition. For committing troops there in a training role for the last 7 years, I would say taking credit for some of the military success, for sanctioning £258 billion of bank assets, while your precious EU managed less than £40bn. I'm sure we could do more, but the carping is IMO not justified.
