As it says, anyone in France at the moment? And is so, how is it? What sort of reception have you had? Is everything open? What’s it like generally? Any problems? Lots of us would love to know
thanks

Been in France two weeks now on route from Spain to ferry next tue at Caen.Very very quiet.Been made welcome both in Spain and France.BUSBY.

We are in France at the moment. No problems apart from the weather in the Alps that sent us south to Provence, but its picking up a in the Chamonix valley next week, allegedly so we will probably go back for some more walking. Warm in the south/Provence, cool evenings. No difference in reception, few Brit, plenty of dutch and French on the campsites here. Everything seems to be open. Reception has been fine.

I'm home at Port Louis, Morbihan ATM Weather is very nice, bbq on the patio last night, followed by a dip in the pool. There's plenty of campervans in the local aires. French mostly but Belgian, Dutch and German around. All very relaxed, but markets are quiet. My neighbours are a friendly lot, so can't judge how the reception would be for strangers but I doubt it is any less friendly.

Been in France for nearly 3 weeks now. Everything is fine. Maybe a little surprised to see us at first but very welcoming. First week very quiet with sites almost empty and mainly French travellers. Now picking up with Belgian, Dutch and German but still relatively quiet for this time of year. British travellers very few and far between. Just been for our pre-return PCR tests (49 euros) and everyone very helpful.

Arrived last Sunday. Now in royan. Finally stopped raining so now glorious. France as you'd want and expect.

Been here approaching three weeks now.
All good. Absolutely no problems whatsoever.
No issues with any animosity from locals. Some see surprised to see us, but that's all.
Feel a site safer from Covid than in the UK.
Following yesterday's news re quarantine on return may do 10 days in Spain and juggle the dates on a ferry crossing to return to the UK without Q if that is still possible towards the end of August.
