Hi All,
Help needed, recently purchased a majestic 185 with the travel seats removed, seats are with the motor home but require refitting based on our needs. As correct fitment is safety critical, dealers closed and nothing on the net to help, has anyone any ideas, rather be safe than sorry.
thanks in advance for any help or links.
Shawn
Got to be honest, dont see this as a dealer-only job
Difficult to lift if you are not able bodied, but a DIY job really

Hi Shawn.Butcher

Shawn, when you say the seats have been removed is it just the seats (in which case you should see the mounting strip and bolts still in situ on the floor) or have ALL the brackets been removed too (ie the brackets that go underneath and wrap round the chassis under the motorhome)? In the first instance they are very easy to reinstall, in the second instance they are a bit trickier, albeit very doable if you’re able bodied and handy with a spanner. Just make sure you have ALL the brackets needed for reinstallation and also if they have been took from underneath, that they sealed the holes up to prevent water coming up from underneath and penetrating the floor.
