When we left Seville we saw a very bright light and when we finally got there it was this:
Broken Link Removed

When we fit our next solar panel, we will have a flood light above it to get the maximum out of it.:ROFLMAO:
Bob.

Clever idea and with the predictions of irreversible climate change in the news at the moment, timely. We just need to cover the Sahara in them now.

We spotted that structure a few weeks back on our way from Seville. Very sci-fi. It would have made a good piccie but there's hardly any pull-ins on Spanish autopistas.

Seems a good system, it allows continued electricity generation from the stored heat even after sundown.

How long before motor homers take up the mirrors and rock salt alternative to pv panels? :)

The 'light' is not providing illumination to the panels. It is a light receiver which takes concentrated reflected light from the panels which are mirrors. I don't think we'll see this on a motorhome any time soon. The system requires liquid salt storage, a turbine and the ability to withstand over 500ºC.
Perhaps you could tow it all on an A-frame next time you are visiting Spain! :ROFLMAO:

I was hoping the smile icon would indicate I was joking.

I think you will need a very large trailer. and a very large smile.

Your roof is already full of solar Bryan, you don't have that much room in the van, ;) because of your obsession for battery power. :ROFLMAO:
We took a few photos while passing, but as said you can't stop.:D Bob.

I'm working on a wave powered generator - well, we do seem to spend hours waving at other 'vans :-)

You could see it from miles away, I managed a few shots....here is the best :-) Janie
