Is anyone else crossing to France Friday evening.. Start of the school holidays?

We are heading over on the 21.20 shuttle for the rest of April...

Our daughter and son in law plus his two boys are following us down to the South of France over Easter .. They are using a tent, the RV is the feed wagon etc., normally we do not travel at the start of the kids holidays.. But needs must and all that.... But I bet it is going to be busy Friday evening.

We normally go on the Friday evening, but have decided to leave it until Saturday this year.

Haven't had any problems previous years with traffic on the M25. So fingers crossed you find the traffic being kind to you.

Off to Northern Spain on the 15th (Portsmouth -Santander ) for 2 weeks.

Going with my parents who are tugging and a bit nervous so not travelling far into Spain:Sad:

I suspect we will get rained on but the weather at the mo is not too bad I believe. It's green for a reason though I know.

We leave Wednesday,Dover Dunkirk for 3 weeks in area 66.
Last minute plans again.Using this trip as a shakedown in the VW ready for Bulgaria in the summer.

The schools here oop North, don't break up till the following Friday 15th.

I thought it was because Easter is late this year, but maybe it's so there is less chance of snow!

Our schools don't finish until then either. My eldest is in a private school and he is already finished

My youngest is being taken out a day early which I know is frowned on but the ferry dictates a bit and from my experience you do naff all on the last day anyway.
