we had a great time, the restaurant is well worth the price for a special meal have booked to go back.

Bus right outside straight to town
Fish and chips are lovely to take away from the site restaurant although not quite enough chips for a greedy sod.

we walked into town and used the bus to get back apart from the day we went to Harrogate. buses are every 2 hours but you can always while the time away in one of the hostelries if you miss one.
I first went years ago with some friends it has changed so much for the better. Wardens are lovely with a good sense of humour too.
