anyone else at Kingsbury water park C&cc site? (1 Viewer)

here till saturday have seen one flag with smiley fce in a union flag , but never anyone there when I want to be NMC not walked round looking for Fun stickers and have just realised we dont have ours up either. Met a lovely motorhomer who helped us sort out our new camp beds. Everyone, tuggers and motorhomers very friendly, so far.

Nice site, we go there quite often when the van needs a service or similar.
Very friendly lady in the office and the pub along the canal is excellent.

That's right. It is a nice site, I hadn't expected it as so close to the motorway. But I loved wandering along the canal and in the wetlands nature reserve. It's on my bucket list to go back to and spend some more time there. And yes, it's where @jumartoo got me into the morning thread!

Visiting Birmingham over the weekend and was thinking about over nighting at Kingsbury WP. I know that Kingsbury is a big area, is the site itself sign posted please?

Turn off the A446 at the roundabout near The Belfry golf course on to the A4091 heading north. After about a mile turn right onto a lane towards Bodymoor Heath. Cross the canal on a steep humpback bridge (take care if you have a very long wheelbase) and after about two hundred yards turn left, then immediately right. Follow signs through the woods to the site.

Home now it was very hot in the awning. Kids loved it I am jiggered, got a 2 week respite before we take the others away. Got a 'recovery' bottle of wine from my son. Road noise at the site varies.
