Anyone driving to Spain in January?

Yes it’s planned, tunnel booked but waiting to see what retriction will be imposed by the EU before making it a definite trip, déjà vu from last year unfortunately,

We're booked to Calais on 18th Jan. It'll take a lot to stop us.

Thanks for the answers. Where are you all headed?

I’m heading Newhaven Dieppe on 2nd Jan heading for Spanish Portuguese border at Isle Cristina to lovely site called Camperpark Playas De Luz

We’re booked on the tunnel on Jan 6th. The big advantage is that’s the only thing to be booked so if c*v*d restrictions become more extreme we don’t lose much.
We plan to drive fairly quickly (time not mph) across France and inland Spain to Gibraltar, then have a more leisurely tour back along the coast.

Yep, unless the situation alters dramatically we’ll be on our way to Totana, Spain via Eurotunnel and the western route through France early January. ☀️🍺👌

Same as, nothing booked, couple of friends to see on the way down and we want to see the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres. His house at Port Lligate was brilliant. Perhaps see you in January.
Why not ! There's going to be a few Funsters in Beni this winter. I'm sure we will meet up sooner or later.

We’re considering driving over to Spain through France in mid January to do our allotted 12 weeks in Portugal and Spain.
-Anyone else planning on doing this?
Any thoughts?
Yes!! As things stand i hope to arrive in Calais between Xmas and New year. I'm holding back before booking the ferry though to see what the next Covid restrictions might be. Changing all the time at the moment.

21 degrees in Murcia today....suncream and facemasks selling like hot cakes....Loads of Germans, Dutch and French here, a few Scandis and Brits..

Yes booked BF to Caen on 4 January. Down through France using the Camping Car Park sites and one campsite at Urrugne. Then to Cordoba for two nights on the aire via Burgos/Madrid. South again to Almeria for 3 weeks (booked). Up to Calpe for 1 week (booked) and then to Bonterra Park for 3 weeks (booked). Back up via Barcelona and central France to Caen on 5 March.
All the campsite bookings were transferred from 2020, very helpful staff on each site, no problems deferring a year. BF booking Portsmouth/St Malo also transferred from 2020 and now going Portsmouth/Caen rather than Tunnel that we usually do in January, saves the boring bit down to Rouen.
Cannot wait!

Crossing Newhaven - Dieppe 16th January. Whiz down through France to a bit of warmth. Meeting friends in Murcia, can't wait.
