Been looking at the Swift Kon Tiki range for a mate who's interested in a model as saw this rather awesome bin attached to the door and thought it would work pretty well on our current Swift Escape. It's dead space so may as well have the useful functionality

Anyone know where to get one? Prices etc? How easy to fit to the door skin.

It appears very alike the one fitted in our Autotrail so must be generally available.

Have checked out eBay?

Its the right one -but how much!!!

We paid £30 for ours and thought it abit much.
It is quite easy to fit with large self tap screws into the plastic - that should come with the bin - especially at that price

We had one in our Swift when we bought it. I kept bashing myself on it when I was getting out of the moho so we removed it. We manage fine without.

More than toes wet now!
Standard fit for our Auto-trail as well but we use it to hold the dog's lead, harness, collar, etc and hanging his towel on for drying.
We use a small standalone bin instead as the lid on the one on the door is difficult to hold open when you're scrapping stuff of plates, etc. It's also a fair stretch away over the steps down out the van.
Our Lunar caravan also had same but different shape.

Almost the same as the one that came with our Dethleffs but never use it as a bin, being just too far from kitchen or table. We keep our lightweight rain jackets in there. Easy to grab if it rains without walking through the van.

We've had door bins on previous MHs but could never use them for their intended purpose as our dogs could lift the flap open! Also some door bins are so small that you wouldn't get much in them anyway but if you had a large one they then impeded getting in/out of the MH whilst trying to hold on to the door when windy!

many many years! since I was a kid
theres a couple of issues with door bins.
the velcro ones fall off with too much weight or if you shut the door hard
the weight can distort the door if its too heavy

We use exactly the same as in OP Photo got it from our local Caravan assessory shop under 30 quid, we also fixed one in the house to a door that is now redundant, to use as a kitchen rubbish bin , comes with a couple of different fixing options

I fitted one to the hab door when we first had this MH, but it had the disadvantages mentioned above. We now just hang up a carrier bag in the kitchen area and chuck the whole thing when full. Not elegant but practical.

Converted a Fiat Ducato PV a while back
2 hooks on the hab door, attach old carrier bag, when full chuck.
2 hooks on the hab door, attach other items, even a bin and removable too.
2 hooks on the hab door, always catch you coat as you exit.
1 hook on the hab door, due to coat always catching.
