I have a caravan at the moment and had many motorhomes over the years. I have always wanted a Hymer A class and with retirement looming I am looking for an oldish 80's/early 90's one with end lounge. One that need work doing would be Ok but would like good engine. A well maintained one would also be good. Any one got any ideas where to look or other advice.

There is a very good group on Facebook called classic Hymers, the rules only allow Hymers older than 1996 to be members, so right up your street I fancy.

Thanks, some interesting tips. The add for the 1981 one looks interesting as well but a a little too early, but the sort of thing I had in mind.

Ebay is full of old Hymers ...you will probably need to travel to get one though.
