If you have France Passion there is super place NNW. Parking amongst the vines, tastings ( a quite agreeable red) and you can use their very clean shower block. Don't be misled by the old bloke on a quad tractor who will come to ask you if everything is OK - he is the owner.

I just remembered there is another FP on an oyster farm nearby. Fascinating tour of the oyster production facility, with the (new to me) method of sticking young oysters to the development and harvesting ropes using builder's mastic.

Some reviews are horrendous and then the next is stunningly good as Lorraine said, it's down to personal experience.

We’ve stayed at camping la petit motte in la grande motte a couple of times. Decent site, not far from beach & some interesting buildings. Think it was built mainly in the 70s.

If you don't have France passion just ask at the tourist information office for recommendations. We've often stayed on vineyards by doing that quite often ones that are in passion but without paying to join
