Any scenic layby between Preston and Harrogate A59? (1 Viewer)

As per title, Preston end preferred but anything on or very near the route that's free will do for me

Just want to stop and have a bite of lunch (Thursday).

I used to stop off in Gisburn. There is a a cafe that sells nice ice cream with a large car park. You could probably stop there if you buy a cornet.

Car park at Bolton Abbey or the steam train one. Or there's a layby on top of Blubberhouses.

Just checked on Google Earth and it looks as though it is NOT well signed off the A59.

We were on the A59 a few weeks ago and stopped on a layby just west of the start of the Skipton By Pass and although scenic it was very close to the road and thus, noisy.
