My scooter needs a bit of TLC to the matt black parts, but ordinary polish just goes cloudy. Are there any detailing experts out there with a good recommendation? hmm have I just answerd my own question?

Thanks anyway

Hi sounds improbable, however I used smooth peanut butter on my front and rear bumpers of M/H and it works a treat and lasts most of the season. The jar lasts forever so I put a quarter of it in another container and we enjoyed eating the rest. This came from a tip in either one of the M/H mags or on one of these forums.

Autoglym bumper and trim gel.
Fantastic stuff, rids any discolouration and restores original finish. Great on black trim and window seals after polishing van.

I have some bumper and trim gel in my arsenal of products Jon, I was quite good for the mirror cases on the Flair and would be worth a go.
