My scooter needs a bit of TLC to the matt black parts, but ordinary polish just goes cloudy. Are there any detailing experts out there with a good recommendation? hmm have I just answerd my own question?

Thanks anyway

Jon

I don‘t know if this stuff would be any good for you?

Hi sounds improbable, however I used smooth peanut butter on my front and rear bumpers of M/H and it works a treat and lasts most of the season. The jar lasts forever so I put a quarter of it in another container and we enjoyed eating the rest. This came from a tip in either one of the M/H mags or on one of these forums.

Autoglym bumper and trim gel.
Fantastic stuff, rids any discolouration and restores original finish. Great on black trim and window seals after polishing van.

I had a Honda pcx 125 in matt black. Dealer said just to use silicon spray on a rag..it came up a treat. (y)

second that , I used it on my Gilera runner 200 , just spray it on , job finished

I have some bumper and trim gel in my arsenal of products Jon, I was quite good for the mirror cases on the Flair and would be worth a go.
