It's hardly likley to be a stolen vehicle so will take the police seconds to find who the owner is and inspect the van for damage.

My daughter was harassed last week by a driver who was in front of her and swerving over the road and breaking hard.. They blocked her in and gave abuse. Minutes later they posted her car number plate on Facebook and lots of groups, claiming she was a bad driver and putting kids in danger and possible cash for crash..

My daughter got police involved. Crash for cash ? he was in front of her !!!
Turns out the idot is already known to police and only just passed test, already had several complaints. My son viewed his profile and 2 weeks earlier had passed provisional bike test BUT Crashed a bike just after and was in hospital..
Like wildfire this thing spread over Facebook BUT many, many people came to her defence who knew the wan**r....

Wouldn't be the first time number plates have been "cloned", despite the (now) requirement to provide a V5 and ID to have a Plate made, it is still far too easy. I dont have the need to, BUT I know of at least 2 places where you can "allegedly" get a plate made, just depends on the size of the brown envelope.

As For F-B, I have a Presence, which I made when we where fighting a developer locally, when we used F-B to get the word out. But I cannot remember the last time I went on, and as far as "friends" are concerned I am definitely "Billy no Mates".
