Roller Team 785... with elec drop down bed.. (Don`t need or want the drop down bed, but the lay out suits us)...

Any known problems ..??

Hi Mo,
I've got one & very happy with it , but payload a bit light , but more than enough for us . loads of cupboards etc for clothes etc , a bit short on kitchen storage & worktop space
Only problem we've had so far ,is the cooker hob became detached & the glass lid came adrift , sorted under warrantee.
just looked at the Bailey 76-4 t ,very similar but no window in the door , no way of closing off the bedroom from kitchen & lounge , look as as though it has a little more kitchen prep area , but fridge is a lot smaller ours has large bottle drawer at the bottom takes 2 x 4ltr milk + 8 bots of wine or similar.gas locker only 2 x 6kg , on mine it takes 1 x 6 & 1 x 11kg ,although it states only 15kg total , no fly screen on hab door.
bed sizes in bailey, 2 inches narrower on the singles and 3 inches shorter on both . Roller team comes with 120w solar panel but no tv aireal got mine thrown in as part of deal it also comes with 4 bike rack which I have removed as we dont need it & alloy wheels ,
But I am biased !!

another thing the rear beds are a little high , but very useable with drawers & boiler under plus large storage cupboards accessed from inside & outside.

If looking for two single beds separated from the main seating area the layout works a treat. Roller Team are known by many from years past when you did’nt even get a radio in the cab - but times have changed and the Roller Team owners I’ve spoken to over the past couple of years are happy with their vans knowing they purchased well under the cost of others with the Fiat side being much the same.

As said I do like Hobby`s...

I don`t mind the one we have... but shower arrangement is small and don`t like flip up sinks over the toilet .... no window in the door and a suicide door as well...

And cos of Judy`s arthritus she struggles to change the bed on a french bed set up, hence the twin singles..

Apart from the british vans mentioned the Adria Matrix Supreme comes to mind for you desired bed layout, with end washroom also, so large shower and plenty of room to dress.
It comes in at 3500KG standard,however can be upgraded easily to 3650KG standard MIRO quoted at 3060.
Being a supreme it also comes with Alde Heating.
I will put me thinkin cap on later try and remember a few more.

Hi Mo,
If you did think of the 785, ask them about the hab door they do an upgrade door which has 2 catches instead of one in the middle , bit like normal house double glazed doors type catches , mine only has one catch and it doesn't centrally lock, you have to lock with the key, bit of a pain .

Looked in one at NEC. Did like the look of it, and they come in 3150 miro according to the manufacturers. To be taken with a pinch of salt admittedly.

Two versions available, 3500 and 4000. There is also the Corinium duo but I’m not sure of the difference between that and the Burford, unless it was chassis options.

Even hymers have the option of additional drop down bed over lounge, as well as fixed bed.
One company does 2 single drop down beds over lounge, so dont have to use both.

Hymer Group have launched yet another sibling brand, made in Italy.
They are called Etrusco Motor homes, they will not be available in UK spec until middle of 2109, they will be at The NEC next Feb. They are aimed at the shall we say more budget end rather than premium end of the market, but thats not a bad thing is it? Horses for Courses en all that.
