Hi, I was just looking at the continental Moho section as part of my research for a replacement vehicle in the hopefully mid future ( Dream on ) and whilst there is a fair bit of content in some sections such as Rapido , Hymer etc , there are only 2 posts on the Mobilvetta page.
Is this an indication that they are so reliable that nobody has anything bad to say or are they just a bit too rare for people to have got around to joining this wonderful group ?

Your collective thoughts please

Regards Apache

I can vaguely remember some threads/posts about Mobilvetta K Yacht payload concerns.

Copied from someone who sold theirs;

' it was a stunning looking van (inside and out), but the build quality on ours was not as good I as would have hoped. I know that new Motorhomes often have issues, which generally get sorted by the supplier, but the Mobilvetta factory is slow in approving warranty work (4 to 6 weeks), which causes frustration for the owner and supplying dealer. Then it can be a long wait for parts. The Fiat chassis is firmly sprung, giving a crashy ride and a lot of habitation noise on the road. It sounds petty, but one of my biggest annoyances was a 55 litre fuel tank (which came as a shock the first time I filled up, because I had no idea until then - having assumed it would be 90 litres like every other Fiat base vehicle we’ve had). I reckon the new Ducato with 9 speed auto’ will be a big improvement."

I own a 2018 Mobilvetta k yacht 85

Went for the 4.4t chassis.

Was looking at Burstner and Adria originally, but was tempted to the Mobilvetta on price.

Have done 60 plus nights now and currently in the south of France.

In my opinion a great van for me and my family, nothing has fallen off, drives nice.

We have a mobilvetta and love it, had several mo's but this is our favourite, ok it might make noises while driving but what mo doesn't?

We have a 2018 k yacht 79. Love it. have a few warranty issues but they are getting sorted. It is our first motorhome and it works great for us.

Another thumbs up for Marquis Devon. Bought my first motorhome, Apache 700 from them.

Warranty issues were fixed quickly and one was 'we will look at that tomorrow if you can come'!

Usually a 2 week wait for parts, always got a phone call when the parts were in and booked in quickly.

Great team of people and would recommend.

We are now thinking of changing to a rear bed van and looked at the K Yacht. We really liked it but as pointed out, the payload and fuel tank would spoil it for us.

I'll be starting a new thread soon asking for ideas on rear bed vans, ones where you can get out each side!

Pretty sure my fuel tank is 95L, not looked in the info but generally fill up just as I go into the red and get 75L in, so guess another 20L in there. But this is the 4.4t chassis.

It’s only the 3.5t vans that have the small fuel tank to fiddle the weights.
Mine is the 4.4t and has the large (not sure exactly how big) tank largest fill has been 75l.
I have a 2019 k-yacht 85 and have had some issues but nothing I could not sort myself.

The ride is no worse that any of the other MH we have had.

Cheers Andy.

Only had one issue that Marquis had to look at and they sorted it while I waited.

Bizarrely, I have just been next to a Burstner, the owner told me he bought German after his Swift, but was disappointed, he said it was falling apart.

Yes I have had a few issues with my 2017 Mobilvetta KYacht 80 but all fixed in due course. As with any motorhome, van, etc the ride can be improved with an upgrade to the suspension depending on what you want from the suspension. This can be relatively inexpensive up to an a more expensive but more luxurious full air suspension with some added benefits such us auto levelling. As with other Mobilvetta owners above we love our motorhome. It suits our requirements. We would not swap our motorhome for any other that I have seen so far.
