Before I rush her off to the vet`s... and spend another £55....

Daisy has a small red blister like thing on the edge of her top lip...

About this size (o) "Yes the O in brackets"...

Could it be a bee or wasp sting or some other insect, she is always chasing and snapping at bee`s..

When I touch it it does not bother her and it feels soft .... so don`t think it hurt`s..

Any idea`s... please...

My advise would be to keep an eye on it for a couple of days and notice any changes.

Rosie (Our Dachsund) had something similar come up on one of her toes last week, but it appears to be healing now.

Hope She's ok.

If it was a sting I'd expect it to swell up and be tender, as it's not bothering her it could simply be a spot ... yes, dogs DO get them as well as humans ... not seen a dog with a lot of acne though ... :D

Leave it for 5 days and see what happens to it,o bviously if it worsens take her in. Easier to get an appointment at the vets than the doctor, innit!

It looks like it's just a type of blood blister, she might simply have knocked her mouth on a piece of twig etc ... try popping it to let the blood out and it should shrivel up and heal.

If it's not bothering her leave it alone for a few days. Only start worrying if it gets bigger or causing her discomfort.

I've got one very similar on my neck, it was a wasp sting but somehow it remained like that and I've had it for over 6 years. I had it checked by a dermatologist who says its ok.
