I am looking for a little help from a German based funster I'm sure we have a couple.

I am going to Berlin at the end of September to run the marathon and have sent 4 emails to this place

.

S far I've had no reply, I'm trying to book a pitch from Thursday the 26/9/13 to the 30/9/13 and just wondered if you would mind emailing incase mine arent getting there or even calling them I will meet any expense incurred.

I have tried calling also with no joy I assume the place isn't manned 24/7

finally got a reply and not 100% sure what they mean, the reply was as follows

no booking possible

does this mean they dont take bookings or they are full, will just turn up and see i think

Thank you for that Paul i had found several on the internet but this one seems to be the closest to the city as i dont want to much hassle before the run. I will just turn up if they have no space will try the next one.

Their contact page says they do not offer a reservation facility other than for Christmas and Easter when you must book at least 4 nights.
Roll up and take your chances.

Thanks jeanluc I hadn't noticed that, so will just turn up as we ar arriving the Thursday I would hope its not to busy.

I also emailed this site as I believe its about 20 minutes from the center. I asked them if they could help me with info on transport to city on a Sunday morning at 7 am all they said was walk to bus or ubann so not sure if they meant service runs at that time on a Sunday. I will go there if other place is booked.

try tourist information or phone direct 99% of germans speak better English than me
