Hi.
Talking to a chap and he mentioned Namibia and drive hire. Stopping at camps/small hotels in a game park and having grandstand views from balconies of animals coming down to the water at night.
Looked at escorted tours etc,but would like to do it....Less organized,any one done this?

Yes we have. We did it through Camping & Caravanning Club but in a 4 wheel drive vehicle with roof tent. Its in our blog look in October/November. We did it last year. Fabulous trip. We went on our own but followed the escorted route.
