I chose a 2011 Peugeot because it has the Ford Puma engine in it - chain driven cam equals no cam belt replacement costs (& I'm sure someone will post they had a mate who's cam chain snapped but it's very, very rare)

I believe the Peugeot gearbox is a 5 speeder taken out to a six speed, whereas the Fiat was a 4 speeder taken out to a 6 speed and hence the failures (my mate had a Murvi on a Fiat and had a big bill at 22,000 miles)

I think that's the same on the 2013/4 but worth checking

If you want automatic transmission then it has to be the Fiat

Peugeot & Citröen are the same

Peugeot badge on the front looks way cooler than the Fiat or Citröen 🙂

2013 /14 past the gearbox issues
Puma engine bit of a Marmite one, ok as long as software was updated to stop over fueling,
Not heard reports of Fiat cam belts failing but they do need changed along with water pump every five years
