Another Local Authority trying it on

Personally I think the picture in the article of moho's parked nose to tail and stretching off into infinity is enough to put me off. I can see why that wouldn't necessarily be popular with the locals or the council . . . .

Although I also wouldn't want to join the queue, I would like to point out that the nearest houses are some half a mile away and somewhat elevated. Therefore not spoiling their view of the mud flats and the Mersey estuary.

Be very interesting to see the council enforcement officers slapping £20 a night tickets on the gypsy vans that every now and then park on the grassed area close by.

I thought there was another thread about them suspending the charges until they have had another meeting.

Here it is Lenny 👍 I think 😂

Providing a facility in principle but priced to deter users.
A lot of money spent to introduce yet unlikely to reap any reward on that expenditure.
Utterly shameful abuse of public money.
exactly this, I spend a lot of time here, they have gradually squeezed each part out over the past 4 years.
First it was bottom end roadside parking gone
then it was fort perch car park with added height restrictions
And now this which is between the 2 and virtually ends it all, as they are also putting double yellows on the in between roads.

oh dear

Mud flats??????

I wonder, my van is still a van and not a campervan or motorhome. Well it is but not in the eyes of the DVLA. Can I stay for free then?
