I am heeding for Scotland if any English need a lift I have plenty of room on my axel

To be fair to the stowaways, they are bloody mad or stupid putting their lives on the line like that. I suppose the coming of winter is adding to their desperation.
Has anyone looked under an Alko chassis to see how little room there is?
Perhaps we, like the French, should consider a Foreign Legion. This would help with the Army recruitment crisis as well as allowing these folks a way to integrate and 'earn' a citizenship.
These fit, hardy, resourceful young men would make for much better soldiers than our youth which becomes more obese and ill-disciplined on a daily basis.
It should be made clear that joining the legion would be the ONLY way of earning citizenship, failure to complete training would result in immediate deportation.

What a good idea then we could send them off to get killed serving there new country.
Love the concept of that one solve the immigration problem over night who would want to get killed for there new country,
