Thank you for posting this warning Janine.

We lost a much loved cat a couple of years back thanks to wrong advise over one of these products (same supplier, different brand name). Very distressing

I stopped using any and all flea/tick treatments years ago as I'm sure they can't be good for animals.
To deter ticks use Rose Geranium oil ( not Rose oil, not Geranium oil, has to be Rose Geranium oil) put about 20 drops in small spritz/ spray bottle ( more depending in dog size) dilute with water. Spray dog daily in tick season.
I found 3 ticks between 2 dogs in 6 years.
ill look up the flea deterrent.
Oils shouldn't be used on cats.
