Just seen that Chris Packham and his stepdaughter Megan have a new series starting this month.
travelling to various wildlife sites around the country in an electric camper van.

New six-part series Chris & Meg’s Wild Summer announced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit

Though I'm intrigued by the electric motorhome, Packham is marmite for me. I find his 'holier than thou' attitude arrogant. Also disagree with his views on introduced species like grey squirrels and mink, which can be summed up as "it's just natural selection so let them kill off native species".
After being disappointed by watching Paul Merton and his wife decide what to have for breakfast I might give it a miss.

I was disappointed too. The proud boast of go where you like, stop where you like is rather hollowvwhen he parks on what appeared to be the yellow hatched lines in front of the lifeboat station to visit Hastings and then seemed to have best reserved pitches for the night.

The program has nothing to do with the motor home and is to do with nature. If by using an electric motor home it shows they are available all well and good. But I don’t think from the comments On here anyone cares

the motor home is not the main feature of the show . They promote Another aspect close to my heart is mental health a subject both Chris and Meg are happy to discuss. The fact that they stayed in hotels on the trip made me smile
