Hi, very interesting topic, which has raised different views. So this October I am putting it to the test, my 10 year old van, which I have had from new will be offered for sale.
We have been everywhere over this period, its served us well, and in return we have looked after it, the service record is up to date, when something breaks we replace it.
Fare wear and tear excepted, it still looks good, treat it well and it will serve you well in return, its our fun vehicle, retired early and enjoyed every minute. So whos going to buy my 10 year old buddy, 200000kms or 120000miles done so far, thats only 20000km or 12000 miles per year. If I cannot sell this year I will try again next year but thats another 3 oil changes and another 20000 kms of enjoyment, not worth worrying about, when we cannot do, then thats the time to start to worry,...................Perhaps not.:thumb:
