Do you bank with Nationwide as their Travel Insurance covers this, you need to pay the over 75 supplement of £60 per annum if that applies but not sure for new members

Hi Minxy girl. The £13 to service your account covers you for breakdown in this country only. This covers a car and MH up to 8 metres in length Foreign cover is a separate issue and does have some extras built in for age, length of time away and some pre conditions. Hope this helps.

I don't know about Nationwide breakdown cover but the Nationwide Flexi Plus breakdown cover (@£13.00 per month, so probably the same thing) certainly provides cover when in the E.U. and includes motorhomes. https://www.nationwide.co.uk/-/asse...ance.pdf?rev=3df30a78b425426a8b651c53454b6001

Yes, we have Nationwide FlexPlus Accounts which give you good cover at £13 a month for all the benefits not only Travel, but Breakdown (AA are the recovery people) all within one called number. The service is really good keeping you up to date with any claim you have made. Our latest claim was when the clutch went just on the edge of Beverley last December, we were provided with a car as the number of people was too many for the breakdown truck, we were taken by the breakdown truck to pick up the car and the motorhome was on its way to our home and I was told as it was a Saturday evening that we called again when the garage doing the repair could take the motorhome thus saving us the cost of the garage breakdown truck.
